School to School Support

Individual partner schools within the Teaching School Alliance are involved in a range of support activities across a wide variety of schools. This includes Executive Headship, coaching and mentoring for new Headteachers and Senior Staff, specific interventions and development programmes such as “Challenge the Gap” and “Securing Good”,  involvement in targeted areas for improvement such as literacy; support for developing teaching skills through the Outstanding Teacher and Teaching Assistant programmes.

The Teaching School Alliance also provides bespoke school to school support through deployment of Specialist Leaders of Education (see link/tab on Specialist Leaders of Education).

In addition, partner schools within the Alliance are able to access support from subject specialists and Challenge Partner Subject Leaders (  through the Challenge Partners Subject Directory – go to What We Do tab/Subject Directory for access to expertise within our hub and across the Challenge Partners national network).
