Feeling adventurous? Lee Valley White Water Rafting Centre reopens for the season on this weekend. Whether you’ve done it before, or you’re a first timer, learn the art of white water rafting on the London 2012 course.
CITY FARM: Hackney City Farm

City Farm is 30 years old, so to mark the occasion the Stepping Out exhibition at Hackney Museum shows some of the farm’s highlights. The exhibits have been created with the community, drawing on local peoples’ stories and associations with the farm. An interactive map by artist Rebecca Davies has been created with people who live, work or play in the E2 community.

Rich Mix in Shoreditch celebrates the Year of the Sheep with cultural performances, food and drink, charity stalls and children’s craft workshops.
CHICKEN SHED – PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

Opening Hours: 5-8yrs 10am – 11am 9-12yrs 11.15am – 12.15pm (No workshop Saturday 7th March).
Cost: £6 per session (Termly Membership: pre-register for all 8 workshops for a 25% discount).
Saturday Shed gives a great opportunity for young people to develop their performance skills using proven teaching methods and unique performance style. Led by highly experienced and energetic staff, each session will involve movement, drama, singing and story-making. Every workshop is different and designed so that a child of any ability can come to all sessions, or drop in to one session from time to time.
