Curriculum Support (S.E.N)
The Curriculum Support department works alongside all teachers in the school to provide access to the curriculum for those with special educational needs and disabilities. The SENDCo, SEN Teacher and team of Teaching Assistants work with teachers and students in lessons and during PDT intervention time, to ensure all students have access to the support they need in school.
We also co-ordinate support from outside agencies such as the speech and language therapy service, educational psychologists, occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
Please see document at the top of the page for families to help navigate the government changes to SEND and the new Code of Practice as well as the school policy and information report. If you have any queries, please contact the SENDCo at school.
