Year 11

Subject Information
Art All students should work through their individual task lists which are specific to their projects. Your teacher can provide these for you if you require. You can contact your teacher through MS Teams. You should follow the weekly updates provided by your teacher to know exactly what tasks you should be completing. Any further work required will be uploaded onto the files area of your class within MS Teams.
Business Studies Go to your class's page on MS Teams where your class teacher will have uploaded all relevant lesson resources that can be accessed by you at any time outside of school. In order to access these materials follow the simple steps: Log onto MS teams - Go to your designated classroom - click on files tab - go into the class materials folder - go into the relevant topic folder. In each lesson folder there will a PowerPoint and activity sheet for you to use to apply the learning gained from the PowerPoint. If you want any additional support you can message your teacher using the chat function on MS Teams or via SMHW. You also have access to the GCSE Business students textbook which is located in the class materials folder.
Computer Science You should go to MS Teams and acces your class notebooks. Presentations and content from the lesson will be available on MS Teams in files. Any students without Internet access will be provided with the work in printed form.
Design Technology

Go to your teacher's MS Teams room where you will find lessons uploaded to "class materials". Students should complete work in their workbooks, on plain paper or powerpoint and upload a photo of their work via SMHW for feedback. If you complete this work, please visit BBC Bitesize, Seneca or YouTube to explore the theory learnt in more detail alongside information on practical skills.You may also continue working on your NEA electronically. Please update this regularly on OneDrive for feedback from your teacher.

Drama You will be set a task through SMHW for each lesson.

English Language Go to this website: https://app.senecalearning.com/classroom/course/df1578de-6327-45fa-9420-1619f20f680e. You will need to set up a free account. Choose either the key terms or language techniques and test yourself. Then make flashcards to help you revise the terms or techniques you did not get right or were not confident on. You can then go through the Paper 1 and 2 sections to revise these sections. English Literature Go to this website https://classroom.thenational.academy/subjects-by-key-stage/key-stage-4/subjects/english and complete one of the REVISITING lessons on a SET TEXT for Literature you have already been taught. You will see "Revisiting" written in the top left hand corner of the box. This will help you to revise the content for your Literature papers. Choose from: 'An Inspector Calls', 'A Christmas Carol' and 'Macbeth'. If you have any questions, message your teacher through SMH. Homework will be set as usual through SMH - please complete any tasks that have been set as usual.
Food Preparation & Nutrition

Go to your class's MS Teams page where you will find lessons uploaded to "class materials". Links to this page can also be found in SMHW. You should complete work in your workbooks, on plain paper or in powerpoint and upload a photo of your work via SMHW for feedback. You can also continue to work on your NEA electronically. French

Use www.kerboodle.com and student log-ins to access digital book and all resources to complete work on pages in textbook and additional activities online. Homework will continue to be set on SMHW, which students should be completing alongside the normal course work. Autumn 1 – p.158 - 169 - Unit 11: University or work? & Unit 12: Choice of career. This includes the Grammar practice section and learning the vocabulary lists. Autumn 2 – p.82 – 95 – Unit 5: Home, town, neighbourhood and region & p.96 – 107 – Unit 6: Social issues. This includes the Grammar practice sections and learning the vocabulary lists. Spring 1 – p.114 – 125 – Unit 7: Global issues. This includes the Grammar practice section and learning the vocabulary lists. Spring 2 – p.126 – 137 – Unit 8: Travel and tourism. This includes the Grammar practice section and learning the vocabulary lists. Summer 1 – Students should cover any units/pages of the textbook that they have missed or not covered. Intense exam revision. Teacher will provide revision guidelines via MS Teams/SMHW.

Geography Please go to your teacher's MS Teams Page where you will find lessons and videos posted by your teacher. Work will also be set through SMHW
Health & Social Care Go to your Year 11 HSC Page on MSTeams > Files > Class materials (All work will be provided in this folder). Homework will also be posted on SMHW.
History Go to your teacher's MS Teams page to find the work that has been set for each lesson. The link to this can also be found through SMHW. You need to submit the work completed and homework completed through SMHW.
Maths
  Go to your teacher's MS Teams page and open the folder called Class Materials in the Files Tab. In here you will find a word or excel document explaining what topic/s you should complete each week. The work will have the relevant mathswatch clips. You should watch these clips and complete the interactive questions.
Music
 
You should go to your Music class's MS Teams page where all lessons and powerpoints can be found. Homework will be posted in SMHW - You will also find links to the Music YouTube channel here. Your class teacher will message you through MS Teams

PE GCSE PE / Cambridge National Certificate Lessons and resources can be found in their MS Teams class. All resources can be found in: > FILES > "Lesson & Date". You should contact your class class teacher via SMHW to request further instruction if necessary. Class teacher will post all task instructions via SMHW, directing students to MS Teams for the completion of class notes, whilst also setting all homework tasks to be completed and submitted via the "Assignments" function on MS TEAMS. In the event of remote learning for a class, your teacher will notify students of the time and location of the live lesson via SMHW. All lessons will take place via a live or pre-recorded MS TEAMS meeting / presentation.
RE Go to your classroom area on MS Teams where your class teacher will have uploaded all relevant lesson resources that can be accessed by you at any time outside of school. In order to access these materials, follow the simple steps: Log onto MS teams - Go to your designated classroom - click on files tab - go into the class materials folder - go into the relevant topic folder. In this folder there will lesson PowerPoints as well as other useful resources. Lessons will be labelled and numbered so students can follow through the work. Homework will be set on SMHW as usual - individual teachers will provide a link to MS Teams where you will be able to access the homework and upload your completed work back to MS Teams. If you struggle for any reason, they should direct message teachers via the messaging feature on SMHW or the designated classroom on MS Teams where you will be able to 'share a new post'.

Use your course notes or the last task set on SMHW to decide which topic to learn. Read the info and put the key points on paper. Even though you might not be able to fill the gaps in your course notes, you should be able to complete any question sheets, so have a go. Take the Bitesize quiz and watch the videos if there are any. If you need more help you can also find the lesson on Oak National Academy. Google it then navigate to the same topic. Next, find your e-learning logins on p55 of your planner. Log onto senecalearning.com - within your science class go to the GCSE science courses. Select a Biology, Chemistry or Physics topic from the left-hand menu and then 'Start learning'. Afterwards, go to educake.co.uk and login. Complete any tests that your teacher has set in the last fortnight in the orange section at the top. If you don't have any due or you finish this, scroll down to the purple GCSE Science - AQA section. Choose 'Set yourself a test' and find the topic you have been learning most recently in class. Do 15 questions on this topic. Repeat until you score at least 70%. Do the same for another topic of your choice. If you need your passwords reset, message your teacher on SMHW or email loginhelp@thecompton.org.uk
