The school’s reputation and results continued to grow and 2009 saw The Compton reach 81% 5A* to C, the school’s best results yet. However, these results were bettered in 2010, with 83% of students achieving 5A* to C!
The school was also awarded Healthy Schools status and achieved International Schools status for the first time.
In 2010, Sebastian Wood, the school’s Chair of Governors since 2008, was also nominated for the prestigious Governor of the Year Award and the Teaching Awards.
