Student Leadership

Student leadership plays a fundamental part in the life of the school. We believe that encouraging students to take on responsibilities is an important element in their development as confident young citizens who actively participate in the world around them.  The school provides a wide range of opportunities for students to get involved from Years 7 to 11.

Students are encouraged to contribute formally and informally in a number of ways and through a variety of democratic structures. All student leadership roles are advertised and students are allowed to apply for positions of responsibility at various stages in the academic year. Students who get involved will develop their leadership skills in key areas which include; critical thinking, teamwork, decision making and confidence in public speaking.
