Young Enterprise Cake Sale

On Thursday 20th of December 2018, the Young Enterprise group held a Christmas bake sale in order to raise money for their Young Enterprise project this year, as well as, the charity 4ocean; 4ocean promises to remove waste from the ocean and coastlines. The inspiration came from witnessing all of the plastic in the ocean and through observations of fisherman pushing through mounds of plastic to get their boats to open waters. 4ocean claims to have removed over 1 million pounds of waste from the ocean and coastlines since its inception. The Young Enterprise group chose this charity as it closely links with their product, Scraps, a recycled key ring ranging from designs of the latest emoji's and crests of famous football teams - keep an eye out for these later on in the year!

The sale went amazingly well and the team managed to raise £158.08p in the space of an hour! Well done to the whole Young Enterprise team and especially those who spent many hours in their kitchens baking delicious cakes, biscuits and brownies!

Well done!
