Introduction to the Bridging Work
The aim of the Bridging work tasks is for students to demonstrate independence, initiative and a general understanding of the A Level/BTEC subjects they will be studying.
Each student will complete a series of two tasks in the subjects they will be studying next year. The tasks should help students build up to a Year 12 level, so may begin more straightforward and gradually increase in levels of difficulty.
The bridging work will be launched with all students on our website from Tuesday 2nd July 2024 following Induction Day. The subsequent tasks will be available as follows:

Important:
- Only complete work from the subjects you will be studying. For the majority of students this will be 3 subjects.
- This work will be marked and assessed by your new subject teachers. It is therefore crucial that you complete all tasks set to a high standard, as this will be the first chance your teachers have got to see what you are capable of.
Submitting Work:
- For Tasks 1 and 2 - the deadline for submission is the week commencing 16th September. This will be our third week of the new school term and you can hand this to your teacher during your lesson. Subject teachers will advise on a set date for their department.
