Why train with The Compton SCITT

The Compton SCITT is a well-established School Centred Initial Teacher Training provider based in North London. Annually, our trainees secure employment and have embarked on a most fantastic and rewarding career. 

Each year, The Compton SCITT Partnership train about 40 trainees. This allows the SCITT team to know all trainees well and support personal needs throughout the year. The SCITT work with a close group of Good and Outstanding schools in North London with strong relationships. This allows excellent communication and fantastic support for trainee teachers.  

Trainees receive an immersive training programme where they are working alongside outstanding teachers with current and relevant experience. The Compton SCITT believes that the school-based route to qualified teacher status offers trainees an in-depth opportunity to work in a systematic, sustained way alongside expert colleagues.
