Where you will Train

Partner schools are based locally in North London and are accessible by public transport. One is based in Luton and is part of Middlesex Learning Trust which includes The Compton and Southgate School.. Candidates are informed of the schools offering a training place at interview to support decisions about where they will train.  

Trainees are placed in one school for most of the academic year with a 6-week second placement at a contrasting partner school arranged by the SCITT Leadership Team. This allows trainees to be fully immersed in the life of the school and feel like a true member of their department. 

Schools confirm each year the subjects in which they can support a trainee and therefore each subject may not be offered by all partner schools.   

Trainees will have the opportunity to experience A-Level/BTEC classes during the training year.
