Interview Process

There will be one interview process usually at the school we are considering a placement at, and this interview will typically involve a half-day at the school. It will include a 20-minute lesson observation and fundamental English and Maths skills tests. 

Applicants are observed teaching by a member of our senior staff and a subject specialist. If applicants are successful in the first part of the interview, they will then be invited to the final panel interview.  We are aware that this may be the first time the applicant has taught students, we will ensure they are told in advance about the content of the lesson and the year group they will be teaching. 

The interview process is rigorous and thorough, designed to get the best match of applicant to the places available.
